Less interference with the stock system. The more you hack & add to a
basic configuration, the more prone said configuration is to problems. 
I'd rather draw a tiny bit of power that will have zero impact on my
electrical system than draw from a vaccumn system that directly
impacts whether my engine runs or not, how well it runs, and my
climate control system. 
Just a personal preference, really.
