Yes, at least in the original style auto-shifter (no DMC emblem, early
VINs; that's what I have and have tested).  I will note, however, that
I put a regular bulb back in the next time I opened it, as the BA7s's
beam was too acute for that application in my opinion.  I have some
low-quality pics of the results in the photos section in the folder
"2894."  If you do decide to go with an LED for it anyway, I chose
white, making a total of 5 white BA7s bulbs.
Also, if you have the SpecialTAuto fan fix, you can go with red BA7s
LEDs for all 3 red indicators.  If you have Fanzilla, just get two, as
you'll need a regular bulb in the Fan Fail spot.
