Be prepared for lots of differing personal opinions. 
Here's mine:   
I have Grady's 1.5" lowered front springs.  Then, I
have the  "Marty Maier" shocks (Midstate DeLorean). 
The rear shocks have an adjustable collar which
effectively allows you to adjust the height of the
rear of the car.  
I am completely satisfied with this set-up.  I have
over 30,000 miles on it and wouldn't change.
