Maybe its something wrong with the torsion bar? I know there is one from Kenwood, model KRC-2007, but was wondering if there are any other ones that people have tried. I checked the back issues and only found the Kenwood model. If you installed a new strut and the door doesn't open fully then you most likely need to adjust the torsion bar. It is not a procedure to take lightly though. If not done properly by an experienced mechanic with the correct tools you can cause a lot of damage to the car and potentialy serious damage to nearby persons. I would recomend you find someone who has done this before and has the correct tools. If there is a Delorean club in your area you should be able to find someone to help. Most clubs have door adjustment sessions or at least a member who can do it. Over the years I have seen both front headlight fail the the same time many times. I 'm not sure what causes this. However, I think a voltage spike occurs when one light fails. The collapsing -15 - 20 amps fieled could flow back to the other lights since they are on the same circuit. This failure also occurred on older cars with independent voltage regulators. However, I have never since this on a generator car. Switch the two door struts. If the sagging door changes sides, it is a defective strut. Otherwise, you need to have the driver's door torsion bar adjusted.
