Bill, Thanks for the info on the AMC rustproofing program. Interestingly, my 1979 Pacer (one of the last produced) still has virtually no rust. The 1978 V8 Pacer does have some at the bottom of the rear quarters. My memory is a little "rusty" here, but wasn't there a "no break-through rust for 7 years" law, that was passed about that time. That law has saved car owner's billions of dollars by increasing the value of their used cars as well as almost eliminating rust on cars. Bob Yahoo!
