If your battery is completely dead your best bet would be to remove it and take it to Auto Zone or some other parts place. They can charge it and test it to make sure it isn't completely gone. If it is then you will have to get a new battery anyway. If you use the jump box on a completely dead battery your alternator has to work overtime to compensate, if it will at all. My car has sat alone in the snow for a few months now. Time to get it up and running. I was going to have it towed to PJ Grady's, but maybe I should try first to get it started. Battery is now completely dead, but it had starter problems even before that happened. I've never jumped the car myself...always had help. I have a battery pack for it. What do I do again? Yahoo!
