Yeah I am a Tom Baker fan myself but have found the new one pretty good.  My wife likes Torchwood more than I do.  I don't necessarily like how they changed Capt. Jack for Torchwood but you know can't have it all.  

Anything Dr. Who works for me though, heck I even liked the pilot for the Sarah Jane Adventures and thats for kids lol

It's a Dr Who spin-off, not been a fan of the new one, though loved it 
as a kid.

I'm a massive fan of 24 - not on TV, I wait for the DVD sets to come out 
then watch the whole series in one weekend. Somehow movies just don't 
work after watching 24 in one go!
