That is a long story. I did sell it because I was having some troubles...that I don't have anymore. The person who bought it was out of the country and could not complete the transaction. Long story short it is still here in the driveway. I plan to complete it and will eventually sell it AGAIN and then buy another DeLorean and modify it with a different engine and interior (sort of like the DMCH concept car). I want to make a drivable car and eliminate many of the DeLorean sore spots such as the electrical system by changing it completely, rearranging the air conditioning, modifying the center console, maximizing some of the unused space and putting in the most sensable engine and drivetrain I can to make a one of kind, reliable dream car. For all purposes it will still look like a DeLorean for the most part. That's my goal. ...however, I might still put in a flux capacitor, just for old time's sake. - Videobob >From: Dom Diaz <dom_diaz@xxxxxxxxxxx> >Reply-To: DMCForum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx >To: <dmcforum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> >Subject: RE: [DMCForum] Response to DW D1 add and Extreme Prices for DOA >Las Vegas event >Date: Tue, 9 Jan 2007 09:58:31 -0500 > >'On the other hand, I love my BTTF car, its a dream come true and Iam proud >of it.' > >I'm confused, I thought you'd tried to sell it on Ebay not too long ago... > > >To: DMCForum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx: videobob@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx: Tue, 9 Jan 2007 >01:12:01 -0600Subject: Re: [DMCForum] Response to DW D1 add and Extreme >Prices for DOA Las Vegas event > > > > >Sorry Bob,this is what I meant to explain...When the car was a regular >DeLorean I could take it to the mall and it would be fine.No one would >really bother it.I can't do that with the Time Machine, its just >crazy.People maul the thing and try to steal from it and take pictures from >all angles. All of us know what a hassle it can be just to get gas without >being hassled...well, multiply that by 100 when you make it a time >machine!!!!So what I regret was the good ol days when I drove my car like >normal. On the other hand, I love my BTTF car, its a dream come true and Iam >proud of it.
