Jack, > Seriously I am doing well. Things are a tad blurry still but each hour is better. I am able > to watch tv and read the guide so all is well for the night. Good to hear. Let us know how it goes over the next few weeks. Curious, how was the surgery? I assume you are awake for the procedure? Any pain, major discomfort, etc? Anyone else around here have this done? How do you like it? A coworker of mine told me a nice story. Apparently she (or a friend - can't fully recall) was at one of these eye surgery centers and the laser is controlled by a computer running Windows. That should be enough to scare any computer geek away, but it gets better: The technician running the system inputs information about your eyes and the software then computes something - laser trajectories, beam intensities, who knows. Apparently, the software popped up about a dozen different errors while preparing to engage the beam. The technician said, "Oh, it does this all the time" and just clicked "OK" on each one like it was nothing. Needless to say, she declined the surgery at that particular eye center. -Ryan Yahoo!
