Oh yeah well I have a prop replica from VideoBob that clearly shows Doc buying 12 gallons of gas at the Hill Valley Texaco Station in Nov of 1955 so there... It must be screen accurate right???

Who knows. Doc could've ran all of the gas out of the car trying to 
get it to the mine anyway. There's no way of knowing how much fuel 
was in the DeLorean when Doc got sent back to 1885.
