I got there later with another owner. Every car that was a "Barris
creation" had his signature emblazoned on the hood. It's sad how he lays
claim to these creations that he had nothing to do with.
KITT would have looked better without the silver pen scribbling on the hood.

Speaking of George Berris, the DeLorean 25th anniversary driving tour that
took place the Sunday after DCS ended up at the Volo Auto Museum not too far
from Chicago. Inside their movie car museum, they ad many George Berris
movie cars, including a BTTF DeLorean. That DeLorean looked like garbage!
It was completely and obviously faked. The flux capacitor was made out of
rope lights for christ sake! Also, the obvious flaws were there... i.e. It
was an automatic tranny, the wrong hood, and the flux capacitor was overly
big. It all just looked so plastic and manufactured. It had not of the
charm that the ones used in the movie, and many have exellently replicated
with their time machines, have.
So, back to the original point, Berris is not all he's cracked up to be.

George Barris is a no-talent hack. The famous cars that *his* shop
>built, were actually done by his brother. So if you notice, after his
>brother died, the "Kustom Kars" stopped appearing, and he just got
>lazy and tried to licence them all.
