That was the point I was trying to make. People often get a sweet deal on a car that used to be a basket case. The cycle looks like: 1. Car with a lot of problems is sold as being in "great condition". 2. New buyer finds lots of problems. She fixes lots of problems at great expense, then gets frustrated and gives up when there are only a few minor problems left. 3. Third buyer gets a sweet deal, fixes what's left and has an almost new car because previous buyer dumped so much into it. So, you're already buyer 2.
