It's really not worth trying to hook upa modern alternator to a DeLorean. I'm no expert on alternators but know what I've been told - that on a modern engines, the ECU controls the alternator hence all the extra wires. We do a supoerb Valeo alt which uses just two control wires - and the same plug as the Ducellier. It's rated to 110A and requires no mods whatsoever apart from adding back in the ignition fed 12v the ducellier used.
