Wow!  I am going to have to disagree with you here
Bob.

Your logic is that because it cost so much to punish
someone who refuses to pay taxes, we should just
ignore it?

If we use this logic on most crimes, I think the
result would be the same...  So, why bother arresting
shoplifters?  Or even murderers?  (how much money can
the government "earn" by convicting and incarcerating
a murderer?)


If the Government did not care about who does not pay
their taxes, who WOULD pay?
