That's also a good idea, but not something I know how to do myself. I
understand relays and basic electrical theory just fine but get lost
quick when it comes to engineering anything other than a very basic
circuit. :)

The actuators seem to draw about 5 amps and I often hit two at a time,
so 10-15 amps would be fine. However, the dual relay interlock system
I devised will work fine with zero current draw when the car is
parked, so I'm going to run with it. :)

However... If you want to share with me how an electronic transistor
relay might be built and how to calculate standby power & build for
the required current draw, I'll certainly listen and learn something
new! You don't have to, though, as I'm betting that would be a time
consuming explanation to get me to understand it. ;-)
