Maybe if he would have stayed with just maroon, it would have looked
better, but the two tone is just what Ryan said, shit. Whay color the
parts most prone to sunfading (dash & a-pillars) a puke yellow.

All one color would have looked better, the seats look slobbish like
some big hairy guy drove around in them with his shirt off while
sweating profusley. Kinda stained looking.

But this proves everyone has their own tastes.

Luckily you have an early car Greg, as the black interiors are not
hard to restore, if you have the parts available to restore.
