My direct friends and schoolmates taunted me for it, but bystanders and just
people enjoyed it very much, locally I was known as the Delorean Kid.
The Engine was the big deal with the people, but the Delorean was more
reliable than our old ford focus..POS!!!!
Anyways, I loved the car for all it was worth, and for 12.5k with a Delorean
that only needed minor cosmetics (interior work mostly, but still straight
and nice enough to drive) hell it was a dream..and maybe If luck is in my
corner, maybe I will get another one someday.
I would want one just like my old one, save for a few addons,
The 1981 Early with Gas Flap and grooved hood, maybe a Auto again (It is a
slow car in comparison with today's models) and black leather
interiror...with a thick sidestripe, I really do want another, just my life
doesn't allow me to go out and buy one...life is shitty for me anyways as of
the past 3 years. Maybe after college.
