I thought about that. I absolutely loved the Edelbrock I had on my
Chevy. If I could lonely get the #%$#$% hood open, I would go take that
carb off.
Maybe I should go up to the cave where it's sitting, cut the hood open,
grab the carb, and see if the flesh-eating mold has continued its
conquest of my interior... (not kidding - see
http://www.forwardlook.net/images/chevy/ )
The Caddy has the optional 29 gal tank (26 is standard). That's $94.25
per fill-up.... Ummm.... Rich? Do they have any more of those electric
mail trucks left?

PS - It's the same cave where they filmed "Day of the Dead".

Oh c'mon Dave, you know a man is better off to walk carrying a Lincoln
hubcap than drive a Cadillac.
Seriously, enjoy your new ride (even if it was built by General
Motors). Once you go vintage, you never go back. You'll eventually
want replace that Quadrajunk carburetor with an Edelbrock (Carter AFB)
unit. Same bolt pattern so there's no problem bolting one up. Just use
a spread bore to square bore adapter plate turned upside down.
Rochester should never have been allowed to manufacture carburetors.
Speaking of vintage: has Juley discovered yet that her Gremster has a
21 gallon gas tank? Filling up from empty is going to be a price shock.
