So does it still have all of the '80's technology in there?  I would think
the wires would have increased resistance and the motor(s) wouldn't be
nearly as efficient.  Are you going to update all of that if it hasn't
already been done?

Lol! No kidding. 

There were about 4,000 CitiCars made and a few hundred of the vans. 
I'll have my cake and eat it too by keeping the DeLorean, having 
another unique vehicle and getting around a little cheaper than I 
was before.
