Yeah, that's because there pretty much are no more British cars to
speak of. Jaguars are pretty much re-badged Ford Taurus & Escorts. BMW
now makes Minis, Ford builds Aston Martins & Land Rovers. GM builds
Vauxhall & Opel.
I fully believe that the Lotus design was a better choice than the
Collins design. However, I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY wish that Bill
Collins would have remained on board to design the electrical system
of the production DMC-12.
Sure the electricals in the DeLorean are fine and have given most of
us many years of great service. But sometimes the logic of how things
have been designed just baffles me. I SOOOO would have perfered an
American design there.
