Hi Jake,
I have ordered three sets of NOS DeLorean seat covers from;
_lee.stella@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (mailto:lee.stella@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx)
He list them on Ebay from time to time.
I just ordered two more sets of black and gray seat covers from him. The
dollar is down now, so the exchange isn't very good. The reproductions out
there are good quality, however they look like reproductions. Not sure what the
Houston seat covers look like, however I plan to buy their new interior parts
when they are available.
I ordered some leather hides and I am having a upholstery shop make a full
leather interior for my car. Suede headliners, leather door panels, French
stitching, etc.
I use Leatherique pristine cleaner & rejuvinator oil on my seats, couch,
sofa, chairs, cars, dashboard, door panels, etc every six months. I would
recommend the continue use of it with new seat covers.
Sincerely Yours,
Mike Pack

Well, I've finally decided that I am no longer satisfied with the condition
of my seat covers in 1063. It's really a shame as the leather looks
beautiful, except for the bottoms cracking. Leatherique-ing the hell out of them
bought me about a year, but honestly the damage was done long before I bought
the car. They were just too dry and I'd like to replace them before they
develop any tears.
So, I've seen Houston's grey covers and they look really sharp. -But has
anyone any experience with the black ones? I'm looking for opinions on feel,
fit, and finish before I go buying. Also, how about the color match? Also,
if anyone could send me pics of the covers installed in the car (including
someone from DMCH, if you happen to have one in the shop), I'd be most
appreciative. Realistically, I'll probably buy them anyway, but it'll make me feel
better before dropping 600 bones on them ;-)
I guess if anyone has got OEM covers at a reasonable price, I'd be
interested in those, too. But I've seen what happens to 24 year old leather once!
