Well since you have only heard from the people on "your side" then your
opinion of everyone else on this group is completely biased. So, as I
stated before, read the posts here and understand what everyone else has to
say before assuming anything. Keep in mind also that tones-of-voice do not
translate in text.
Stating the Lexan windshield should not be used at night is completely
different than stating Lexan is not DOT approved for street use. Also, the
posts here should be taken as one's opinion. If someone says your car is an
ugly piece of shit, why would you waste the time letting it bother you?
Someone once said about one of my cars, "man that is one ugly car." I
didn't let it bother me and they didn't pay for the car.
Yea, this interface is horrible; having to do nothing while email arrives on
its own.

I've seen plenty through other users -- I merely joined to voice my
thoughts of how you all act. It isnt that I discovered this feeling
from my short time registered however it isnt hard to grasp when you
know what to look for. I'm not trying to hide behind anything myself,
I'm coming to defense of someone who I feel got shafted by a group of
purist pricks. Many of you served up false claims and the large brunt
of you all ate them up as truths.
Am I ASE certified? No -- my brother is, since I never made being a
mechanic a career I never bothered to go for such training, not to
mention I dont have the 'shop time' behind me to even be eligiable for
such a certification. I am however quite adept with vehicles and I am
currently in the works of getting a mechanical engineering degree.
Yes, non-DOT approved windscreens are not street legal, neither is a
lot of other things done to cars these days. He stated in the auction
that it is not suggested to keep the lexan windshield as at night the
glare can be annoying.
I dont know if I plan on sticking around or not yet; using such an
archaic form of internet-based communication is quite cumbersome afterall.
