That's Jeff Friday's car. Money's been tight (he's unemployed too),
but since the car is paid for I thought he was going to keep it. His
other car is a Chysler Sebring convertible. I guess he figures the
DeLo is a more saleable asset, though the last time I saw it, it was
in an advanced state of disassembly (he'll need to put it back
together before the buyer shows up).

Wonder what this is going to do to his big intake manifold project?
I'm not 100% sure about the design -- that big open plenum may yield
pretty sluggish throttle response at lower RPM's. Wonder what would
happen if the fabricator put some dividers in it before welding the
top on (kind of like square versions of cast passages)? I bet he's
used to working on race engines, which usually spin 6,000-8,000 RPM.

Apparently the DMCNC thing isn't panning out either (unless proceeds
from the DeLo are its seed money). Too bad -- Jeff's an honest guy,
mechanically inclined, and not afraid to work on DeLoreans (many 3rd
party mechanics are -- that's why people pay ungodly sums of money to
ship their cars to Houston, New York, or Florida).
