Once you start putting it all back together, you will
remember if you did it right last time (based on the
behavior)..

As you tighten the pressure plate to flywheel bolts,
the fingers on the plate start to move.  As the
fingers on one side start to move, you need to move on
to another bolt (try to keep the fingers even around
the plate).  Keep criss-crossing a few turns on each
bolt until the plate is tight against the flywheel.
