Hi Farrar,

Sorry to hear about your granddad. We lost my father in-law (I would
sometimes call him ?Dad?) and my oldest sister Gail last year just one week
apart. His name BTW was Dr. Robert Z. Brown for you BTTF fans!

They both died of cancer which is very painful to witness. You just have to
hang in there and trust he?s going to a better place. What else can you do?

Apologies to all for current emotional state. Apology
also to VideoBob for flying off the handle. Have been
an asshole all day awaiting news. Living off coffee
for a few days. Just got off the phone with Mom a bit
ago. Grandad's toes are turning purple, and he is
having great difficulty breathing and swallowing.
Cancer is moving much quicker than anticipated.
Hospice nurse says "it could all be over by Sunday".
Hiatus may be longer than expected. Will be in
Charlotte/Concord for the funeral. Not sure when I
will be back. A week or more. Can be reached by work
email fhudkins@xxxxxxx or cell phone. Should be back
in town sometime after Easter (ironically). Until
