I remember seeing advertisement for these engines, and
some were sold at the Columbus wear house.  I don't
think they were "back door" deals.

FWIW, I don't have a major issue with DMCH selling
these things for $10K if they wish.  The topic came up
because Video Bob, the marketing genius, seemed to be
complaining about all of the engines is stock.
