[DMCForum] Results of Car Show

Hey All,

For those of you who are interested, I have posted a couple of
pictures of my D in the car show. Sorry if the pictures are dark, but
I did say that the car was in a dark corner. There were 5 cars in my
category and like I thought I didn't place, but I can't complain
because the other cars were beautiful and they deserved the trophies.

I sat against a wall near my car and just watched people for a while,
it is amazing what people will say and do. I had my door pistons
locked in place by a piece of round cardboard (so that the doors would
not come down on someones head) and some idiot tried to pull the door
down and broke the cardboard supports. Needless to say there were
finger prints all over the door. This didn't happen just once, because
I had to clean the finger prints off the door many times.

I had a picture of Katherine DeLorean sitting in my D on the hood of
the car and some lady said "Oh look that's John DeLoreans wife". I had
to laugh. The cool thing was that many people stopped and actually
read the Myths Busted poster that I had at the rear of the car. So
hopefully there are more people out there with a better knowledge of
our cars.
