Why am I so misunderstood?
I have no problem with anyone selling stuff at DCS!
My point was that these events generate a lot of
business for vendors. I included you in my comment
because it looked to me like you made a decent amount
of sales at DCS.. Again, I have NO OBJECTION to that!
What I was saying, is if DMCH is going to run their
own event, I would conclude that the more people they
have there the more sales they will make. So, why
charge so much to attend? Why try and make it
exclusive?

Ken does it as a non-profit situation. DCS is a
non-profit organization.
Best I can tell from the web page, the registration
fee includes the Saturday dinner, and go-cart racing.
It is not clear what else is "included"... and I
cannot get to the registration page at all (Maybe they
already filled all 150 spots?)
The registration cost may be fair for the event, and I
do realize the cost that goes in to an event like
this.... So, maybe it is not as high as I though.

Yes, I agree.

EXACTLY! This event is not for the benefit of DMC
owners, but as you say "to bring in customers".
*THIS* is why it is not the same thing as DCS.

Maybe I am just annoyed that I can't go to this event
myself.. LOL
