[DMCForum] doors locked

Well, last week there was exactly the same question on the DML with some
good answers.

But the best answer is - get 2-3 different Delo keys and I bet one will open
the door ! (there are maybe 5 different keys that fit the doors, but won't
they start the car)
Try your own key or even keys from other cars that fit in there. Or call
a locksmith, within 5 minutes he opens the doors without any trouble.

Question - why do you think taking off the ground cable would open the doors
?

Dear members,

A friend of mine who has also an DeLorean has locked himself out.
Keys are in de DeLorean and the doors won't open.
Unfortinatly, he dind't made a extra key when he purchased the car.

Do some know how to open de car without any major damage.

We tried to find out how this could happen and in what way the doors 
arn't opening electrical or mechanical.

I tried also to simulate this on my car how to de-engerzise (if the 
sollenoids are the problem)but when i take of the earth cable 
nothing will happen with the sollenoids.

Does someone have an idea hoe to solve this or how to open a 
delorean without or with minor damage.

Any help will be welkom.
