Well I guess I will add my story as well.  I had a number of these people
email me when I had my other car for sale.  One person stated, "I would like
to pay you, oh, about $1,000.00 for the car."  My response was, "oh I bet
you would!"  Never heard from him again.

Another one, and way more funny, was a young kid offering something like
$500.00 and that anyone who bought the car would be a moron.  I replied,
"well, you are trying to buy the car so what does that say about you?!"  A
few days later I got an apology from his father.  His son was apparently
using the computer and sending emails without permission.

By the way, the person who bought it was not a moron :)
