I was not. We are both correct. It was not necessary a landslide but he
still got the most votes in history. Going back to Moore and the Hollywood
influence, it seems to me that they did nothing but rile up Bush supporters,
bringing them out in droves.
And to comment on Reagan being part of the Hollywood establishment, he was
out of movies and TV in the late sixties to concentrate on politics. He
always had political aspirations. Springsteen and Moore are just wannabes.
And for that matter, so are the conservatives in Hollywood.
It's most important that people make decisions for themselves and not be
influenced by the opinions of someone just because they show up on the idiot
box every night.

I know what he said.. In the context of the article,
and my comments on it, it seemed to me he was agreeing
that Bush/Cheney were correct in their position
because something as meaningless as "most popular
votes". The real (ONLY) contest is margin.
Margin is how one would define a mandate, or
landslide.
