Lauren, next time just use a stapler. The cardboard backing
is fine for taking staples.

My belated 2 cents --
Just when the discussion ended a week or so ago, the RV
mirror in
my truck let loose. I used Permatex "Rear View Adhesive" -
$2 at
Auto Zone - and it worked perfectly. Easy to use, tight
bond. I'd
highly recommend it.
And just so this is D-related, I got my D back today (for
good this
time!) and it drives like a dream. My only problem now is
the
driver's side window that the seems to be off its track.
Any advice
appreciated.
I also did a "girlie" fix -- I know this will horrify you
heavy-handed
wrenchers, but it made sense to me - on the sagging
headliner until I
can get it replaced. I sewed a seam down the center to take
up the
slack. Looks a little rough, but hey - at least it isn't
engulfing me.
