The launchers are very, very simple. I can scan in the docs if you
really want them, but this is essentially all you do:
1. Take the interior pieces off the door panel.
2. Look up at your door. Near the top rear there is a "cavity" of
sorts where the actuator will fit.
3. Use a template (provided with your instructions) and drill two
little holes to mount the actuator. They go through a single piece of
relatively thin steel that has nothing to do with the structural
integrity of the door, and it's completely hidden so if you take the
actuators off some day it's no big deal.
4. Mount the actuator with the provided hardware. Takes 5 minutes.
5. Drill another small hole in a linkage assembly plate ahead of where
you mounted the actuator, and hook the linkage rod up to it.
6. Hook up the electrical. There are three different methods of doing
this provided. I chose the easiest one, which was to steal the
redundant ground connection running to the lock solenoids.
It's only slightly more difficult than replacing the door lock
solenoids. Really a very easy job, completely reversible if you don't
like it (except for the holes you drilled, but those are in
non-significant places).
