You mean that unbiased bastion of unfettered news, The New York Times?
Actually, I just read the article and what it indicates in the text is
that Al Qaeda's intelligence gathering BEGAN several years ago. Leave
it to the New York Times to spin the truth for their headline! The
article also indicates that they have specific information that suggests
that an attack is planned for this year. Further, the article points
out that the intelligence was updated as late as January of this year.
It seems that Al Qaeda, like the CIA gathers years of information before
they strike. That too, is in the article. So go ahead and ride the
headline and suggest an impropriety. The fact is that it doesn't matter
what Bush does, you will take issue. If he raises an alert, liberals
clamor about specifics. When he releases specifics, they clamor about
the timing. If he does nothing and an attack occurs, liberals would
crucify him and you know it.
If your family worked in one of the threatened financial institutions,
maybe you would feel differently.

NYTimes reports that the terrorist information
released on Friday was a few YEARS old. Some of it
pre-dates 9/11! So, why release it now?? Maybe
because of the poll numbers?
Go back to dreaming about Bill...
