Subject: [DMCForum] Re: American Custom Engineering
Thanks for the reply. I'm looking for a Delorean and have talked to
the owner of an engine swapped one. It has a 4.7 v6 Supercharged.
My only concern is that it is coupled to the stock transmission and
the splines on the input shaft sheared once and the roll pin holding
the coupler snapped once. A custom piece was fabricated to fix the
issue but I worry that all that has happened is the weakest link of
the system has now been moved to the inside of the tranny making a
failure more catastrophic.
