I am not making judgments here, but it sounds like you went to Bubba's Used
Autos for this truck. I have never seen a used car go into a reputable
dealership and not have a 'some number' check list and all necessary obvious
issues like those you mention. I mean you said it needed jump started?...
that?s a biggie on the check list for me lol.

My delorean was a flaming pile of S when I bought it. It was a 19 year
old vehicle at the time. The engine at least started, the glove
compartment door opened, and no compartments came flying off their hinges
when attempted to be opened.
It's very possible the PO was a JO, but i expect all hinged doors to
still work correctly.
