I can't remember who asked about FSBO, but if you want my 2c, I
buy and sell property quite a bit. I've always bought property
without a realtor and felt confident about it. But the last time I
found a house I wanted to invest in I let a friend/realtor handle it for
me. He saved me a bunch of money and came up with a few
creative ideas to include in the contract. When selling property I
always feel better having my friend negotiate the contract for me -
he earns and deserves his commission every time. When selling a
property there are liability issues that are best spelled out
according to your State's laws and unless you want that undotted "i"
or uncrossed "t" to come back and bite you in the ass, I'd vote for
going with a realtor.
