Two hurdles to overcome:
- Very little clearance above the headlights to attach reinforcing
pieces of metal
- Finding a suitable adhesive to hold them (see Message #15257)
As I understand it: you remove the headlights, glue thin metal
reinforcements in the upper recesses that begin just behind the rolled
edge, (zap the eyebrows with heat?), and clamp.
My question: will there be enough room with those metal reinforcements
in there to access the upper adjusting bolts? Fascia has to be moved
up & out of the way as it is. Pehaps the headlight buckets should be
turned over and mounted upside down so the long edge mounting screw is
accessed from below? (Can't remember what the corner tension springs
attach to).
