Obviously you have not studied Islam. Islam states that God sent 
revelations through the prophets -- chonologically speaking, Moses, 
Jesus, and Mohammed. Whenever a real Muslim speaks of any of those 
three, he says after their names "peace be upon him". Therefore the god 
of Christianity is the god of Judaism is the god of Islam. The main 
difference is that Muslims don't believe that Jesus was the son of god. 
They do see him as a prophet, who brought revelations from God to the 
people of the world. The Koran itself acknowledges Moses and Jesus as 
prophets.

Mohammed, believing the Jews and Christians to be "People of the Book", 
bevelied they would hear his message and be his natural allies. Oops.

The relationship between Islam and Christianity and Judaism is long and 
complex, and hardly understood by most. Consult any college text for a 
World Religions course and you'll get a smattering of how they're 
related. It took me two semesters of study under the Jesuits to get even 
a broad view of the religions of the world, and I found myself wanting 
more and more time.
