[DMCForum] Ready for the show

Mike Cohee and I spent the day tidying up our cars for the show. We 
went into his doors and did indeed discover that the ground switch on 
the lock solenoid bell-crank was mis-aligned and corroded. This, we 
fixed. Thanks to Martin G. & Walt for pointing it out. However, his -
remote- still won't unlock the doors all the time. We have traced 
this to his $36.00 alarm module or its associated wiring.

We totally re-dyed the inside of my car with the -right- dye this 
time, plus fixed a bunch of rattles in my door, general wiring, clean 
up and hardware issues.

We also put Mike's front tires on my car, and sure enough the 
vibration I had disappeared. Thanks to all who pointed me in the 
direction of wheel imbalance.

I'm still coming down off my high from breathing the vinyl fumes on 
the way home......
