Hi guys - I lurk, therefore I am. I read Rich's article
on "hotwiring" the cold start injector, and have a question to the
general audience. Would this work for temporary enrichment of the
fuel/air mixture at wide open throttle? Winged1 goes a bit lean at
WOT, and I tried to richen things up a bit using the mixture screw.
The bad thing is that I am too rich at idle then, and the Lambda
system gets grumpy. It would seem that a little extra shot
(manually applied) would be a good thing for performance and to
prevent that dreaded detonation that can happen at WOT in a slightly
lean condition. What thinkest thou?
