Believe it or not, I run Mirages in my Garages. =)

The Mirages have an incredible density of sound without being loud. I have
often considered swapping them with the JBL Control Monitors and Studio
Monitors I use with my home theater.

Mirage had a line of nice speakers (This is in the
late 80's). The M1 was a little expensive for my
wallet, but the $1000-$2000 price range speakers were
better then the maggies. Kef, and Mission also had
some nice stuff too... Less money than the maggies,
and sounded better with no need for a subwoofer.
(This was before all the new surround sound and DSP
stuff... now a SubWoofer is required no matter what).
