DAAAAAAMMMN.  I'm horrified to have found that the $80k-$90k esprit V8
still use a renault gearbox.  

Here's a pic of a 1994 Esprit S4, anyone recognize the transmission?

Final Drive 3.89:1 
1st Gear Ratio 3.36:1 
2nd Gear Ratio 2.06:1 
3rd Gear Ratio 1.38:1 
4th Gear Ratio 1.04:1 
5th Gear Ratio 0.76:1 

It might bolt up.  I think a better solution would be to get the
Lotus/Renault box into the Delorean.  Even if it doesn't have the same
bell housing, the Delorean bell housing could very well bolt up to the
Lotus/Renault gearbox.
