Does this also effect the lift-to-shift into reverse? I can shift into
reverse with or without lifting.

Well between those of us who were ragging DMCH's "green" car down the
Houston raceway, we managed to break said pin. A lot of D's have trouble
shifting into second, and I've heard it's all down to this roll-pin. It
makes second feel very vague "like stirring porridge" said Dave, and on
the car we've just pulled the engien and tranny out of, you could go
from 1st to 2nd, but not 3rd to 2nd, as you say.
