The 24v PRV, on paper, at least, chucks out an extra 3 bhp than the
25 turbo, but it is DOHC and from my experience move valves tends to
mean smoother excelleration and top end grunt.
You can find them in some Peugeot 806 people carriers but they are
still a bit pricy.
Judging from the number of 24V petrol 806's models availible
compared to diesels I guess the petrol was not 1st choice.
Best to find one in a scrappy that has been rear ended and written
off.
The 604 also had the 24v 3 ltr PRV as an engine option, but again not
many around 2nd hand.
