I rode with Ken Koncelik during the first ETDOC meet in '01 (East Tennessee DeLorean Owners Club) and he was really impressed by the road which is dubbed "The Dragon", and thought it was a road which DeLorean owners would really enjoy. Just wait until you see this road... it's a sports car lovers (or sport bike lovers) heaven. He decided that day to plan a show around this road, and believe me... when you drive your D on the dragon you'll understand. Pigeon Forge is also reasonably centrally located on the East Coast, and is fairly accessible, and had facilities which could accomate a show of this size. I think a big bonus was the fact that they had facilities large enough to house the show indoors. Hats off indeed to Ken for organizing the DCS. During my ride with him at the ETDOC meet he worked almost the entire time on DCS stuff. I really had no idea what all went into his show before I met him and he showed me. He literally starts planning 2-3 years in advance for a show, and works daily on making it happen. The man has some serious commitment. -Louie

I've been there before several years ago on another group trip.
