>the only fault that was mine is that i ordered the parts from Grady, >Grady said they were in stock and on the way. > >What part of "in stock and on the way" dont you understand? Any business large or small can make mistakes. Larger businesses are able to cover these mistakes much easier. Being a small business owner, I too have quoted delivery times to customers and later found out I was out of stock on what they needed. It was a book keeping error. It happens all the time. We are human and make mistakes, computers just make those mistakes much faster and more accurately. >When you tell someone the parts are in stock and on the way that doesnt >mean i will send you what i have and you call me when the parts arrive >when you notice something missing, and when you find out you are >missing something call me and i will say they are on back order and i >will ship them out when i get them back in stock. But this wasnt Gradys >fault it must of been mine since i am not a mind reader. Actually, this is common practice when shipping with a back order. The requested parts are shipped and any back ordered parts are then shipped later when they arrive. You were probably able to install the other parts you received anyway. If it is any consolation, when the shipper sends parts like this it cuts into their profit so they have no desire to do this to you. They have the added expense of packaging twice, shipping twice, plus all of the time and effort to get the back ordered item in, field your phone calls and emails, and many other countless things. When this happens, this shipper starts losing money exponentially. Greg To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to: DMCForum-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Yahoo!
