After his speach, Rob and I grilled him a bit harder (mostly rob asking about some prototype suspension thing he had...) and I asked him again about the lowering. He was very clear to say that although it has been commonly accepted that the DeLorean was raised at the last minnute, it was not. The car was produced at the hight it was designed for. I remember Stephen (DMCH) commenting something about the springs unwinding with age, but I honsetly thought he was kidding..
