Once again I wonder why people buy a rust-proof (well, nearly) vehicle and then avoid getting water on it. I have seen DeLoreans advertised not only as "garage kept" (meaning nobody gets to see it) but "never driven in snow or rain". I guess the former would be good for people paranoid of vandals, and the latter good for people paranoid of splitting epoxy, but it is ... in fact ... a CAR. When I get mine I'm gonna drive it, damnit, in fair weather, rainy weather, and on the rare occasions that the roads freeze in New Orleans (hardy har har) I'll let it stay at home. End of rant. Mark, I've seen that picture and I thought it was great. I have a few pictures of The Rad Dad's pretty D in the snow up in Colorado and they're great, too. Far more impressive than a Civic on asphalt, no matter how many shades of yellow it is. :) Farrar -----Original Message----- From: Mark Valuch [mailto:dmcvin6683@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, December 08, 2003 7:30 PM To: DMCForum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [DMCForum] Winter storage I created a poll to see how many members store there car and how they store it. This question was suggested by John Fredt after he called me an asshole in a rude email because i have a picture of my Delorean with snow on it and i wanted to see how many members store their car if they actually store it for the winter months and also to see how many other assholes let snow get on their Deloreans.
