I bought something very similar to this from some place like JCWhitney (Don't remember who at present.) I used it once and am not too happy with it. The nice thing about it is that you can bleed your brakes without anyone else there to help. The disadvantage is that if you don't keep a close eye on the reservoir then it can easily run dry. Then you have to start over from scratch. Every time you add fluid, you have to depressurize it (which can be often if flushing out a contaminated system.) The one I have has a feature where it will pump extra fluid into the master cylinder to save from running dry. But that comes with its own disadvantages. I have also tried vacuum bleeding (which can also be a one-man operation), and am equally not pleased with that technique. My preferred method of brake bleeding is to have two people present. One person cracks the bleed screw while the other pumps the pedal and reports how it felt each time. That is the most reliable if you have a helper with a lot of patience and leg stamina. My next preferred way would be to have a robot foot that pumps the brake pedal by remote control. Yeah, fat chance anyone would ever try to build this. ;-) Walt Yahoo!
